Once inhabited by the Ancient Mayans and considered a sacred place dedicated to the goddess Ixchel, Isla Mujeres is a tropical paradise with a Caribbean Island Vibe located just minutes by ferry from Cancun. Only four miles long makes it easy to explore the entire island from the famous beaches of the North end to the breathtaking views of Punta Sur. There are plenty of restaurants, bars and beach clubs to check out where you can expect to find a wide variety of local cuisine including fresh Caribbean lobster, ceviche and of course mouth-watering tacos. ABOUT PUERTO AVENTURAS
Nestled between Playa del Carmen and Tulum in the Heart of the Riviera Maya exists a small, gated community perfectly suited for family vacations called Puerto Aventuras. Well known as a safe town located directly on the Caribbean Sea and surrounded by the various channels of the fishing marinas.
This place offers a tremendous amount of activities and a nice array of restaurants and small shops. Snorkeling, Sailing, kayaking, paddle boarding and fishing are just a few of the fun things to do during
the day as well as taking a stroll through the quaint downtown area at night. More amazing nightlife options are close by in Playa and Tulum. Night Life in Puerto Aventuras is typically quiet and relaxed.
We personally love the feel of Puerto Aventuras and we vacation here a few times a year. The laid-back vibe is contagious, and the reef protected cove is great for ocean activities. For couples, families and ocean enthusiasts it’s a fantastic vacation destination.
